Hi,

If there are two machines doing the same job, you can just double the machine rate. If your question is, how to maintain routing for different parallel operations, it is called network routing. You have to use phantoms to achieve that. Please read the runtime help in the SFC parameter session fields 'Operation Numbering'. You can select the field and press F1 for the field help.

dear srikarthy,
yes, the parallel machines (whether 2 or 3 or more) are doing the same operation of same Production Order.

But our concern is to make the machines visible in the planning board while they are processing the operation. In other words, the parallel processing of the same operation at those machines must be incorporated in the production planning.

Does anybody know another way to achieve this instead of splitting the Production Order?

Thanks.

hi all,
just got the answer from BaanSupport.

The answer: No Can Do.
It will need the SSA Scheduler to do the thing. They say that the Scheduler can be linked with BaanERP.

Well, so much for the term "Enterprise RESOURCE PLANNING".....Duh....
