Dear Friends...

Recently, we got error when we want to complete a production order. The error is "Corrupt Inventory Detected in Whs... ".
This errors appear in report BACKFLUSH ERROR REPORT and INITIATE INVENTORY ISSUE (SHORTAGES).
This error only occured for some production orders.

We also got an information that session whinp1200m000 ( Rebuild Planned Inventory Transactions ) can solve this corrupt inventory error.
Is that right ? How to use this session ?

Any solutions for us how to solve the corrupt inventory error ?
We really need solutions.

Regards

marselhober,
Unfortunately I'm not familiar to Baan V and higher, but Baan IV offers several sessions to rebuild corrupted inventory data (tdinv0252m000, tdinv0250m000). Those sessions are not listed in the standard menu but they exist. I guess Baan V offers similar options...

In BaanV you have the session whcor0200m000, however, you will be able to choose different things in this session. For instands, do you want a financial booking for the fixed corrupted inventory.... So be carefull, consult somebody from SSA-Global.
The session you ran is for planned inventory transactions, the cor0200 is written for the actual inventory settings. So, try this one in test mode, see if this helps.

Maybe this document can help. But it is best to run this session in non-update mode and report the finding to Baan Support.

Annoying thing is that the session runs for hours altogether.
