I would like to know the significance of the field
"Only reschedule Total Order Quantity" in EP Parameters.

Situation is, IF my demand reduces and when I "Simulate Orders", I want Planned Orders for the quantity that I need.
And I am on Baan Vc. Order-based Planning.

This is related to actual orders not planned orders. Planned order quantities will change based on requirements. If for example a PO was sent for a quantity of 10 all required on the same day. Now assume that the demand has been changed for 8 on an earlier date and 2 on the original If you have your parameter set for reschedule the whole quantity then you will get a reschedule message to bring in all 10 on the earlier date. If you do not have this parameter set then you will get a message to bring in the 8 on an earlier day and leave the 2 on the original required date. This same applies for actual production orders. Baan will never recommend a change to the original quantity of a real order. Hope this makes sense.
