I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this situation and developed a solution. We are beginning a process of taking items which need to be costed and putting them into a nightly job.

The way the Baan 5 system is structured, this means creating a job for the job daemon and inserting into this job a ticpr2210m000 session for each item being costed. If that's 50 items, then it's 50 sessions.

What I'm wondering is if anyone has developed a way to set up a pre-defined list of items to cost and had the job in the job daemon pick up these items and cost them?

There is an option to specify - Only items without a Standard Cost Price. This should work for new uncosted items.

That's one we know about. In many cases there are items with costs and the costs are being adjusted (updated, if you will).

If u write an AFS wrpper session that reads all such items and runs/invokes cost price run (ticpr2210m000) through AFS and put such session in job , ur job management task can be simple.
