Maybe you should check the settings, like order system and parameter for SIC. I think it is in the Inventory analysis parameter. Not quite sure though coz I'm on Baan 5

Hi Yeshwant,
Apart from other parameters two important things for generation of SIC order are Re-order point (which should be greater than economic stock), and warehouse of the item should be Nettable.
Thanks

Actually ROP is greater than the Economic Stock. But i found that in item master Net Change MRP(tiitm001.ncst) field is No.Is this creating problem.Because it is a SIC Item. For SIC item it should be Yes and For MRP item it should be No as compare to other MRP and SIC item.please help me

Hi Yeshwant,
I dont think this field has anything to do with your problem .It is basically for items whose order system is MRP, whearas your order system is SIC. Check for other paramaters in inv and offcourse the warehouse concept and item data.
Thanks.

Check to see it you have defined Safety stock for the item, also check the reorder point quantity.

Check to see what your Order Intervals are set at. If a requirement is needed and the interval is set to high the system will ignore it, until the number of days between orders have passed then generate the order on the next MRP / MPS run. This is common for SIC Items since you don't want to place an order every day, but rather accuulate requirements into a manageable order quantity and timing such as a week or month.
Hope this Helps,
