I have set-up a test project item in our test environment. The purpose of this is to set-up a model for our new company.

The item set-up is VS00SA 1101.
Project is VS00
Sub project is VS00SA

I have set-up a routing for the item being one operation task that refers to a subcontract process. (Task 8000 V Line Test)

Using the session subcontracting rates [ticpr1560m000] I have setup an estimated rate for the task of $10,000.

On completion of running Cost Price by project an error message was displayed "cost price of item VS00SA 1101 is zero.

The question is why is this item zero cost when a standard routing exists for the item and the cost has been rolled-up using Calculate cost and Valuation Price [ticpr2210m000].

Any assistance you can give is appreciated.

Have a look at the date of the subcontracting order. Might be before the date of the firts std cost price calc.

For your information I have raised a case with the Baan help desk and they are looking at it. I will post any feedback I receive.
