Is there anyone using BaaN IV Multisite?
like:
1 Logistic company
n Financial companies
1 shared article database
Like to discuss some things with you

If you mean 1 shared item table by "1 shared article database" then yes we run that scenario.

Tanks for your reply.
Shared item table I mean.
For the different financial companies we have different cost prices per item. Do you know if BaaN can handle this?
Actually we don't want to share the whole item table but some fields of it. Is that possible

Baan 4 has only 1 standard cost field per item so you cannot have an individual standard cost per finance company. I am also not aware of a way to share only certain fields of a table.
You could use Baan Exchange to update from 1 company's table to another. I think you can use "by audit" so that for example if you create a new item in company 1, it can be replicated to company 2. However, I have never used this.

When item master is shared , the cost price , inventory at the item level , average price , purchase price etc will all be common for all units . So u may either not use this functionality or may eliminate the effects of this by customization or may not share the table itself .
There is no facility to share fields of a table.
