Hi everybody,
Can anyone tell me how does Baan calculate the order horizon date found in the Item Master Plan (cprmp2101m000) session ?
From which date (what logic is used?) does Baan take as a starting point, adding it to the order horizon in the Plan Item Data and get the end order horizon date?
Thanks a lot guys,
Hendra

Dear Hendra,
Order horizon date on that MPS screen was obtained by adding the order horizon length in Item Planning Data to the start date of the scenario you're using for that particular screen

and in addition:
current periodstartdate + horizon gives the orderhorizon
updates are done during cprpd4200 : initialize, roll and update
(session is also needed when you change horizons)

Hi all,
Thanks for the info.
I've tried the scenario in another company and it worked just as you all have explained and as I expected.
I guess it is just computer problem.
Thanks a lot,
Hendra

i have a plan item with order horizon = 365 days and Scenario start date as 15th Oct 2005. I get the order horizon date as 30.03.2007 in cprmp2101m000 instead of 15th oct 2006.
Can somone please help explain this?

This could be a bug the thread you grabbed is EP LN. Also check calendars or if you re-ran cprpd4200m000.

5 day week?
365 / 5 => 73 weeks......that's about like 1.5 years....
