If I create an MRP order then subsequently change the BOM for the item in that order does the next time I run MRP change the original order? I believe it should but it doesn't appear to : we have mrp orders that are still calling the old parts . Has anybody seen this before? (Baan IVc3)

This was one of my last fixes on B4_c MRP fixes... (just before I got kicked out......)

Solution 133089 is the one you'll probably need

MRP processes all items on a planninglevel. When a manufactured item is processed, the BOM is exploded and the components lowlevelcode is updated.

Here comes the technical part: MRP started with an 'as prepared set' on all planninglevels... Now the 'prepared set' is re-read for every planninglevel and thus including the 'updated items' from the previous level'....

Succes!
