When generating MPS planned orders for items that linked to SCH Sales Schedule, system split the planned orders into too many orders.

It does not really follw the requirement date. Equally split throughout the months.

Setting in Item Data, order interval = 1 day and order lead time = 1 day.

Why the system acted like that?
Please help.

You can check the sales contract to see if the flags for smoothing the demand is set to yes.

I've checked that. The "smooth monthly figures" as well as "smooth weekly figures" were set to "NO".

Was that the reason for the demands splitted into too many orders?

I will do some simulation to see the results if the flag is set to "Yes"
