We are currently using Baan Vc which does not support the use of purchase schedules.
How are other companies managing purchasing without this functionality? Is anyone using bolt on software?

a practicable workaraound to do purchase schedules is to maintain a purchase order with first order line with the total quantity. If your customer is giving you a delivery shedule you have to add new order lines for each delivery date and you have to reduce the first order line. So you have the whole overview of the total quantity all the time.
