we are facing problem in Genarate (MPS/MRP) Planning for only one sub assembly.

planning only 0 level(top level)

we found in display Exception message by item
planning failed

please help

Hi,
Check if the forecast date and the MRP planned date falls as within the schedule given.
If not it will throw an exception.
You can also check if the date is within the calender period defined.
Say your calender period is defined till 31st dec 2004 and the MPS/MRP plan has a date for jan 2004 ?
For the item for which you have seen the exception error, you can check if the planned quantity is defined.
