We are using Baan4c4 and we are planning to implement the Manufacturing Module of Baan sometimes next year of second quarter. Anyone who can give us the idea of the implementation plan and the time table that we need to implement this module and the things that we might prepare before implementing it. A reading material is also appreciated if you do have one. Our setup is a single finance and multi logistics.

To implement mfg module suggest you first study the whole enterprise mfg process, identify WIP, repair, rework loops, role of inventory, the need for work centres, and operations.

Reading material is ideally Baan's Foundation Logistics, and then followed by Enterprise Logistics. As you are running single finance, consider the need to control new parts generation, multiple warehouses, production centres.
