I am having an issue with forecast consumption on certain items. We have foreward/backwards forecast consumption = 7 days. For most of our items, when the quantity of customer orders field in MPS are less than the demand forecast, that exact amount of demand forecast is consumed. However, on certain items, the full order amount is not consumed. For example, Demand forecast = 500, customer orders = 300, consumed demand forecast might only be 200. I would expect to see all 300 units consume 300 of demand forecast for the current period. Any ideas? Thanks

First, what version of Baan are you running?

Second, is all of the 300 units of customer orders due in the same initial bucket or is it spread out across the 14 day window?
