Our fiscal year 2003 is 53 weeks. I can't add the 53rd week to the calendar in tirou4101m00. The strange thing is I can add a 53rd week to the year 2004. We've looked everywhere to see if there's a place to define year length or periods etc. My user profile says 4b2 but we just migrated to 4c this past weekend.
Thanks in advance
Gary

Baan uses the next rule:
If less than 4 days lie in the last week of the old year week becomes 1 and year becomes the number of the new year.
If 4 days or more lie in the old year week becomes 53 and year becomes the number of the old year.

Check this link (http://www.baanboard.com/programmers_manual_baanerp_help_functions_date_time_zones_overview). The week handling describes exactly what you're looking for.
Because January 1st 2004 is a thursday week 53 of 2003 does not exist.

Thanks isimeon and Frans. Your replies certainly shed light on my question. Too bad users can't define number of weeks per year but it is what it is.
Thanks Again
