I am playing in Baan V and I am trying to create a production order for a customized item. This item was created directly in the Item Base data (with a project attached--PCS).

When I try to enter the item it says "Cost structure of item 245090 2499904 not found". I have seen this for standard items, but not for custom. I know that Baan V merged (somewhat) the item masters, but I am still confused on this one.

There is "cost data" for the item as well as production data, warehouse data and others. However the cost calc data is inactive. I cannot use the Calculate cost price session either because the item is a custom item.

Does anyone know what I can do?

Baan 5c on an oracle database.

Run the session Calculate Cost Prices by Project.
You must make sure this item is either on a Project Bom, or there is a project part for this item.
