How do I define a Generic item? When i click on the Item type, I have Pur, Manf, Service, Cost, List, Subcontracting but no Generic.

Do I have to do some initial setup?

Would appreciate if someone can send me an exercise document of BaaN V.

You need to fix the PCF parameters, In Product features by generic Item (tipcf1101m000)by zooming general Item data (tc ibd 0501m000)you will get the item type generic.
