Problem Description: Infrequent bw client disconnect over dial up isdn connection. Frequency of problem is directly proportional to the amount of rain falling at the time.
I've had the telephone company out on a number of occasions already, but whenever they are around the line behaves. I am running parallel tcpip pings to the host together with the bw connection. Guaranteed disconnect whenever the ping either timeouts once or the ping returns a time >1000ms.
(noticed no disconnect with ascii client)
At the time of bw disconnect the dialup connection is not dropped i.e. there is no need to redial.
Request: is there a bw setting controlling the timeout? Similar to the tcpip 'keepalive'?
Current client version B40c.61
Thanks,
Rupert
