Has anyone linked Baan Distribution to SAP R3 Finance? Our company is plans to stop using Baan Finance and use SAP finance with Baan.

Has anyone got any knowledge on this?

Hi kamran,
we are running a simple interface (one way) to SAP R3 using the entries in tfgld102 and some related tables in order to transfer the sales invoices to SAP.
Recently we have heard that Baan offers a more sophisticated interface where a two way communication can be set up.

There is an Open world SAP connector available now from baan, I have seen a couple of demos runs very nice.

acapulco, demo's always run very nice :D ...

Is there anybody who is actually using the Open world SAP connector?

Someone mentioned that Flextronics is using it, to connect Baan to some order entry systems of their customers that use SAP.

But as always call some Baan people and find out who is using it
