since I have installed MS Windows XP Professional Edition display fields are not refreshed properly.
What can I do?

BaanIV c4 SP8 Installed
BW version B40c.66

I'm not sure what type of field refresh problem you are experiencing, but I am also using Windows XP professional.
When using an older version of Baan client, I noticed that drop-down fields would "flicker".
(example: in tdinv7520m000 Display Inventory transactions by order, do a "find" and drop down the order type list.)

I upgraded my BW client to B40c.67, and now dropdown lists are fine.
I am also on BaanIV c4 sp8.
Maybe you can try the new client.

When i activate "clear type" in the properties of display, then i see a shadow of the fonts in Baan Windows only, when i scroll from one record to the next.

Microsoft recommends "clear type" to get a better result on LCD-Displays (OS is Windows XP), but it does not work well in the Baan Client (i tested it up to version 65)

Thank you all for your help.
I solved the problem removing "clear type" from the screen setting after I had submitted the request on Baanboard 2 days ago.
I suspected the problem was something concerning the BW version or the lack of 2 DLLs (resBECS and resBW) for language 6 (Italian) so that the default language was assumed.
I wasn' t right.
