Here is a paragraph from the installation manual for Service Pack 8 for Baan 4 under the section of 'To Install Tools solutions'

"There is no need to install Tools and Applications at the same time, although you are advised to install both at the same time. If needed, you can choose to install Applications at a different time than the Tools."

Now I have to admit, it took me a few times to get to grips with what they meant! Is this unique or have any other users come across problems with other Baan manuals?

When I was first training on Baan, a statement like that was referred to as "Dinglish". It is often times caused by the inordinate number of translations that a document may go through on it's merry way to English. I will attempt the translation:

"I am not sure what is going to happen, you are on your own. Good Luck"

Manuals???? I have never seen a Baan manual, so how could I possibly know. So I must be confused.:)
