Hello,

I am assiciated with Baan IV C3. We extensively use B2WIN Application as Baan reports are not that friendly.

Recently we upgraded MS office to MS office 2007. Now we are facing problems when we try to extract Baan reports using B2EXCEL. The Baan dates change to numbers and Baan time change to Decimals.

Please help me solve this.

Hi,

I assume - it's not a formatting issue, it's to do with how it imports the dates. It always seems to want to interpret imported dates as being in US format, except when your day is greater than 12 in which case it can't.

Example :

01/10/07
02/11/07
05/12/07
14/09/07
15/09/07

Dates are stored in Excel as a number of days past 01/01/1900 (which you can see by changing the format of a date to number).

example : 4 june 2009 is 39968

Hence - check the format for dd/mm/yy and also the export settings in b2win.

if the date format is in A1 try this =TEXT(A1,"mm/dd/yyyy")
