does anyone know how to fix it.

Have you tried running Download Windows Help {ttadv5245m000} at the client side where you get this sort of a viewer?

1) Go to the particular users terminal and login with a user that has administrative rights.
2) Click on File Menu and choose Run Program.
3) Execute ttadv5245m000.
4) Select the packages (multiselect) for which you want to download the help file and then click on Download Button.

After you complete the download process (for all the packages) and relog into baan again, you should be able to see a difference when you click on the Help>>Contents or for that matter by clicking on Help from any of the packages you have downloaded the help for..
