My company is on doing business in Shanghi. We are looking to replace the local system with BAAN and running it in the US on the Corporate system. Is there anyone that has been successful with connecting remotely from China to the US? If so I would like to discuss the issues and how you were able to overcome the connectivity problems.

We are doing that currently.
Our server is in Connecticut, factories are in CT, Sherbrooke Quebec and Shanghai. Remote sites connect via VPN.

Can you share some specifics on connectivity. What vendor are you using and what is the configuration (i.e. frame relay, mpls, etc....)?
What baud rate are you using? Is there any issues with latency?
