Dear All,
please guide me for Job Management.

we are doing it for first time.

for taking daily printouts of reports, entered some job in session 'ttaad5100m000'
but the session 'ttaad5101m000' does not show insert button as operational.

Dear ramankaplish,

the procedure is as follows:

1. Add a new Job e.g. JOB1
2. Go to the session you want to add to the job
3. Go to the form of the session -> EXTRA -> Make Job and connect the session with the JOB1
(the form feature "Make Job" must be activated).
4. Answer the job specific questions in the automaticly opened dialogue.

This means you link the sessions to the job FROM the Session e.g. tdsls4404m000. You can not add them directly in the Job Management.

i tried some of the things without going through the white paper. things worked well immediately. but for delayed start it went in a loop. it remaied in wait mode for more than an hour that i have to perforce cancle it.

now i have seen it (white paper) for the purpose and get back if there is any problem.

thanks a lot any way.

i realy appretiate the promptness.
