We are going to build an application which will be connected to Baan.
The application will be used to summarize the total quantity to be prepared per item for all Sales Orders made in Baan in certain one time. Sales Order status which will be summarize is Maintain Delivery. After that, the application will upload the information back to Baan and change the status of Sales Orders to Print Sales Invoice.
Any body can give us information on how to this?

We've done full warehouse automation (with barcoding system) using external software linked to BaanERP (but not BaanIV) through API. So I can help you with such implementation on BaanERP, but, unfortunately, not BaanIV

Actually the preferred way to connect BaanIV to external application nowadays would arguably be through its API. API is available on BaanIV too, you just have to be on a certain service pack or have certain solution for standard program (STP) installed. Please consult Baan Support
