Any Idea about following subjects:

1. Prsently we are using BaaN IV c4 NT 4.0 with SQL 7.0

2. Now we are planning to migrate to Windows 2003 with SQL 2000.

3. Our Auditors is that all BaaN users should be forced to change the password every 60 days. We believe this can only be achieved through an integration with the Active Directory.

Requirements:

1. We want to connect with the Active Directory Server .
i.e in ADS we have created user name and password.
Ex: login: a.gentleman
Passwd:Most2005

2. If we create in the user management user name as a.gentleman
will the system accepts.
i.e can the system installed the member server of the domain where by all the users are retrived from the active directory domain.

3. current scenario of ttaad200.uusr accepts 8 characters.

Please advice us the solutions.

My answers you can do it.
You can migration to ms sql 7 to ms sql 2000 and from windows NT to 2003 and there is no problem.
In my company we used MS SQL 2000 and Windows 2000 Advance server with AD windows 2003. so far so good.Before you upgrade please read document from baan about Application baan.

I think before you installed n migrasi you must cek for application baan using baanivc4 build version 3.0 date April 22, 2003. becoz i am using this version.
