Hello,
I'm looking for any information on the QMS module in Baan IV.
Mostly, we need to know what parameters need to be set, what data needs to be entered as part of the set-up, etc.
Does anyone know of any manuals or documentation on-line?

There's no one in our company that has any working knowledge of the QMS module, but we'd like to learn more about it and possibly begin using it.

Hi Sandy,

I am currently working on implementation of QMS module. Your question is too general, and it is difficult to answer in this post for me. It is very simple module and there is no much set up is required.

First set the QMS parameters. (All fields are self explanatory)
Then you need to set the QMS master Data.
The Inspection can be done for
* purchase receitps
* routing (during the operations)
* BOM (for component issue)
* after production quantity
* before sales delivery.

The help in the field "quantity to inspect" in report production orders completed gives you the idea.

We want to start the QMS for Purchase receipts ( For FG) only. We do not want to disturb other transactions.
How do we achieve the same?
