Hi,
I'm using Baan 5.0c now (before migrate from Baan 4). Several diff. between Baan 4 & 5 from :
Viewing Side:
Baan 5 more friendly just like Ms. Windows viewing and easy to convert to other Ms. Office appl. (excel, word, txt). For my user more easier than Baan 4.
Common data Side: terminology of Supplier & Customer in Baan 5 is Business Partner (can be Supplier or Customer only, can be both for one code).
Distribution Module side:
Baan 5.0c Invoicing can be base on packing Slip (applicable for our Co. due separately invoicing for one SO).
Baan 4 Invoicing based on Sls.Order (One SO, Several Packing Slip, One Invoice).
Invoicing has own module in Baan 5.0

Thanks for the reply BA,

I want the differences in depth like the procedural changes and session usage, for example, in sales order how to make an invoice in Baan 5 and also many other procedures for logistics, financials, and manufacturing etc.

If you have documents prepared from your side or else any other way. then please send it accross at the id ajaybansal@cyberbabies.com.

Regards,
BG

Hi,

You can get a detailed difference documentation from the baan support site. I saved it on my PC with a different name, so I dont remember, but I remember it contains a string "25062001". Search for this string
