I am trying to find an EDI message for dispatch advise
(X12 856) that also contains the lot information from the
outbound data. Any suggestions ?

we ran into a simular problem, we wanted to send information through EDI that is not in the standard tables recognized by the EDI-dll's.
We solved the problem by using the textfields. In your case it would be tdsls041.txta in message 856-out and tdpur400.txt in 856-in. We have build some edi-preprocessors on both sides, after generating the message out to fill these fields and after "general network communication" when the messages are read into the second system.

Our solution had nothing to do with lots, but I can imagine that the same "technique" can be used.
