I have a question about how to use ACTIVE-X controls within
BaaN IV.
The object is to integrate balances to get weight values while
process Purchase receipts and also to collect components
withdrawals for production orders (SFC).
The Software available for the balances (i.e BIZERBA or METTLER) offers the opportunity to use ACTIVE-X for the communication between the balance and the erp-system.
it receives parameters to process specific operations at the balance and also delivers values back to the calling program.

So, can anybody tell me how to realize communication between
BaaN session and an ACTIVE-X control?


It would be great if you could give me any advice.

I'm not sure, but I think you need to check out the COM interface. Do some searches here on baanboard.com for some examples.
