Anybody can explain what are these BaanERP function/module for?
1. Baan Object Data Management
2. Baan Office Integration
3. Baan Currency Initialization

From the discussion in this forum, i got the impression the the office integration allows you to use Excel and Word as reporting tool directly from Baan system, and that it is a different product (with version 2 as the latest version). Can anyone confirm this?

As far as the other 2 (No 1 and 3), I had no hint at all.

Help me.

Cheers

As an answer to the third module: this is the tccri module. It was used for the Euro conversions.

Hi, a few quick answers:

Baan Object Data Management can link files/documents to Baan sessions using the paperclip functionality. Also you can use revision control for your documents. For example link a specific document with intsructions to a production order.
Or link instructions to your service orders for your field engineers.

With Baan Office integration you can export and import data from and to Baan from MS Office applications

Baan Currency Initial Initialization is from implemention of new currency systems, like implementation of the Euro in your company
