I never completed the solid works integration with PDM, the requirements just never materialized. But I will be intrested in finding out more about what it takes to implement such an integration. The PDM was implemented as a stand-alone system and mainly used for its workflow functionality.

Once again just to make sure we are talking about Baan PDM.

There is already a bi-directional integration available for Baan PDM to Solid Works [Baan PDM to Solid Works and Vice Versa] for last 4-5 years from BaaN [Now SSA Global].

The workflow functionality can be used from within Baan PDM and can incorporate Invoking Solid Works also. If you need more information please send an e-mail to vjdr@hotmail.com and then i will provide a contact telephone number if required.

PS: When you are mentioning that you are using PDM as a Standalone system i presume you are talking about Baan PDM.
