TYPE OF JOB: Contract to Permanent

JOB TITLE: Business System Application Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business System Administration of Baan IVc
Develop customized queries, reports and forms for end users
using Baan or Business Objects
Provide application and troubleshooting support to end users
Work with Oracle DBA and Unix Admin as necessary
Responsible for maintaining business application operations including:
Tools Maintenance (i.e. user, device and job setup)
Daily monitoring of system application
Version and Patch control
Table maintenance as required
EDI mapping and maintenance
Assist in implementing new business processes and applications
Operations Documentation
Vendor coordination
On-Call as Required
Travel as required (very little)


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Working knowledge of Baan IV software / Tools
Working knowledge of Oracle 8 / HP-UX 11 platform
Basic knowledge of Unix and Oracle commands
Knowledge of ERP and Relational Database Systems
Ability to communicate and work effectively with users and
