POSITION SUMMARY
Assists with the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program (BAAN 4 and LN). Customizes and configures workflow to allow the integration of client/server applications. Tests ERP layout to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Capable of leading and directing the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Additionally, responsible for providing business and systems analysis for the IT Organization towards the delivery of sound IT system(s) solutions and process improvements, specifically focusing on the organization’s BAAN 4 ERP system. To accomplish this, the IT ERP Business Analyst role includes planning, business requirements gathering, conducting and executing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with improved business processes and/or system enhancements/automation. The individual will provide technical and functional assistance to End Users while evaluating and developing systems solutions/procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
•Work closely with End Users from each business unit to identify areas of opportunity to leverage the BAAN 4/LN ERP system to meet current business needs.
•Drive standardized processes across the system to simplify business processes.
