BaaN Administrator
Responsibilities:
The focus will be on the BaaN ERP, but may include peripheral systems. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel over all business strategies. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions and steps required to modify computer programs. Familiar with both relational database concepts and client-server concepts. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Responsible to maintain and support the day to day Baan Logistics data and business community, this includes but is not limited to Sales, purchasing, warehousing, and pricing.
This includes:
Daily and monthly running of the Calculate demand job to allow 13 divisions to maintain proper inventory levels.
Coordination related to special dropship pricing issues.
Batch job to release purchase orders, generate order advice, process deliver purchase orders, update first allowed order date, actualize cost of items.
Batch jobs to release sales orders, process delivered sales orders.
New item setups, Supplier price changes.
Changes to existing items, (descriptions, unit of Measure, new item signals, discontinued items, etc..).
New suppliers added to Baan, or changes to existing suppliers.
Employee additions or changes in Baan.
Setup or changes to purchasing user and sales user profiles.
User input controls for sales associates.
User input controls for purchase associates.
Setup of Item signals for Business partners.
