This position is for a business analyst to support the 3M Touch Sytems subsidiary's global ERP system - Baan IVc4. Duties and responsibilities include:
Maintenance, design, development, and modification of Baan session, forms, reports, menus and tables.
Troubleshooting transactional, data and procedural issues as requested
Document requirements from the business units to improve business processes as applied to ERP system. Analysis deliverables may include business use cases, detailed requirements, functional specifications, detailed process flow diagrams, and test scenarios. Ensure proposed design of business solutions are compatible with existing ERP System.
Responsible for ensuring that change implementations are in compliance with departmental policies and procedures (MOC), as well as regulatory compliance controls.
Creating and maintaining procedural or policy documentation related to associated projects.
Must be able to educate and train key users and on the use and functionality of system.
Work with other IT staff and business users to troubleshoot problems with the Baan ERP application.
Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in MIS, CIS, CS, or Business
3+ years supporting/development ERP in Baan IVc4 environment
Work experience with the following Baan IVc4 modules: Tools, Purchasing, Planning, Inventory, Finance, Service, Common Module, and Master Tables
Experience with Baan tables and GTM
Preferred Qualifications:
Baan customization maintenance, job management, exchange utilities
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 a plus
Windows Server, Active Directory experience helpful
Experience in business process modeling and data mapping
