Our direct client has an immedidate consulting contract for a QA Tester. The ideal candidate will debug complex software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for our cilent's products. Develop and execute complex software test plans and software testing specification documents. Analyze and write complex test standards and procedures. Complete and maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of complex software. Perform analysis of test results to ensure functionality and recommends corrective action.
Complete logging, tracking, communication and resolution of issues.

5+ years experience with various Windows operating systems, Network, Client-Server, Internet/intranet/ Webservices. Experience working with BAAN ERP. Knowledge of using popular relational database software (Sybase ASA or ASE), be able to write simple queries. Experience debuging complex software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products. Experience developing and executing complex software test plans and test specification documents. Experience analyzing and writing complex test standards and procedures. Experience documenting test results to assist in debugging and modification of complex software. Experience with analyzing test results to ensure functionality and recommends corrective action. BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree.

Term: 6 month contract
