A client of ours in San Antonio, Texas is looking for a Business Intelligence Programmer/Analyst for a direct hire or contract to hire opportunity. Qualified candidates will have the following qualifications.

Job Summary:
Responsible for Business Intelligence report creation, end user training and support and the creation and maintenance of the data warehouse.

Primary Duties:
Create Business Intelligence Reports.
Train end users on new reports.
Design and maintain the data warehouse.
Assist end users in creating new reports.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Baan IV and Baan LN in supporting a manufacturing environment.
Report creation in Cognos 8i or Business Objects XI.
Oracle or SQL Server knowledge.
Report and Stored Procedure creation in SQL.
Data warehousing experience.
Sharp troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Ability to create and monitor systems batch jobs.
Ability to write an ad-hoc report using reporting tools, such as Cyberscience eCQ.
Strong analytical skills required.
Strong interpersonal and people management skills essential.
Strong organizational and project management skills required.
Strong desire to learn and keep up with technology.
Accounting knowledge.
Education, Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Accounting or related field required.
Minimum 3-5 years of data warehouse experience.
Experience with Baan IV or Baan LN.
Knowledge of SQL structured programming.
Strong working knowledge of Cognos 8i or Business Object XI.
Office and Manufacturing plant environment.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

I have more than 10 years of experience in baan and also have worked in Business objects both as an administrator and reports development.
