Position: Programmer Analyst
Location: Fergus, Ontario Canada
Duration: 6 month contract
GSW Water Heating is searching for a Programmer Analyst to join our IT team, on a 6-month contract.
Candidates should have a Degree or Diploma in Management Information Systems or Computer Programming (or practical equivalent experience); 4 years experience supporting ERP systems; and a minimum 2 years experience developing and maintaining BaaN IV applications. Solid knowledge of BaaN IV Manufacturing & Distribution is a prerequisite. Previous experience working with Oracle databases or with web applications (ASP) would be considered a significant asset.
The position will require day-to-day interaction with our sales, operations, and planning staff. As such, you must have effective interpersonal communication skills along with the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. Keen attention to detail, along with strong analytical and problem solving skills are also required.
