My client is upgrading to a newer version of Baan ERP and needs to begin the upgrade planning and preparation immediately. This is a 4-month Contract-to-Hire position.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the design, development & maintenance of in-house
developed applications.
• Primarily will be working on Baan/backend systems.
• Will be exposed to integration development as well using OpenWorld and
webMethods.
• Responsible to document and follow the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Eager to learn new technologies and grow existing applications into
high quality and competitive applications.
• Potential backup responsibilities for Baan administration depending on
incumbents’ skill

Requirements:
Required
• Computer Science or Data Processing degree or equivalent work experience
• 2-5 years Baan developing experience (Baan V highly desirable)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred
• Administration of Baan; Tools knowledge a huge plus
• Baan V highly desirable
• Baan ERP LN also highly desirable
• Cognos
• OpenWorld
• DEM
• Vertex
• UNIX Scripting
• Familiarity with integration software
• EDI knowledge
