Title: BaaN Consultant
Duration :12 months
Location: Marysville, OH, USA
The selected candidate will perform the following duties: - Working under the direction of a project manager perform systems analysis, design and testing for existing and new BaaN applications - Working under the direction of a Support Lead will be responsible for analyzing production issues, determining Root Cause and determine permanent counter measures - Document current systems designs, Interfaces and changes to systems - Document test results and communicate to Project Leader/Analyst - Create test data that can be used to confirm quality of system changes - Create status reports and communicate issues to Project Leader - Level 1 support of current BaaN applications for NA sites - Coding, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and status reporting of BaaN applications - Identify BaaN interface points / processes for GPCS Implementation - Design and develop interfaces to and from BaaN for the GPCS Implementation - Analysis of existing applications to determine if changes are needed for GPCS implementation
Required Skills and Experience: - Senior Level analyst / developer in BaaN - Experience in areas of BaaN Supply-Chain Manufacturing and Distribution - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills - Ability to work with little supervision - Familiar with Maestro, Unix OS - Flexible - Can adapt to changing priorities and requirements
Preferred Skills and Experience: - Highly skilled individual with BaaN system knowledge, team player, and very good communication skills - Previous automobile manufacturing experience and understanding of business processes - CMMI - Development processes - When appropriate adjusted shift, weekends, 2nd shift, and Overtime
