The Senior Baan Administrator will participate in the design, implementation and support of our outsourced customers’ Baan environments. Extensive hands-on Baan technical skills, capability to respond to critical situations, problem identification/resolution and skill in working with support teams as well as the business and technical Baan / SSA / Infor community are critical for success. Sound knowledge of Baan change management, performance tuning, environment design and VRC strategy is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide hands on Baan support for outsourced customers including: designing and implementing Baan environments; performing routine administration tasks; system installations, system copies, upgrades and patching for Baan systems.
• Perform Security administration, security strategy, user creation/management and DEM management.
• Possess a good depth of knowledge of customization and patch management, PMC, Baan data dictionary and backup/recovery strategies.
• Available to provide 24X7 on-call system support
• Lead efforts to develop technical standards within the system landscapes based on best practices.
• Lead projects including planning and execution.
• Troubleshoot general database and OS issues as they relate to Baan applications.

SKILLS NECESSARY:
• Experience with Baan IV, V or LN.
• Solid understanding of Baan concepts including architecture, security, customization management, update/patch methodology and performance tuning.
• Capable of representing OneNeck at a customer site.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems quickly and efficiently
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills

EDUCATION:
4 year degree in MIS/CS or Engineering preferred

YEARS OF RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5 years experience in Baan administration.
Minimum 1 full life cycle implementation of Baan
