Formed Fiber Technologies, a leading manufacturer of automotive trim components, is hiring a Senior Baan Analyst to work from our corporate headquarters in Auburn, Maine. FFT has manufacturing facilities in Maine, Ohio, and South Carolina.
The position’s primary role is to support FFT’s ERP system (BaaN IV c4 ags0) and provide end user support for all functional areas of BaaN, including Distribution, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and BaaN EDI. The position analyzes user requirements and develops specifications using the latest analysis/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes. Works with BaaN developer to implement necessary code changes. Oversees application of code changes through test systems, user testing, corrections, then to product environment. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards. Trains FFT staff in use of the system. Participates in planning studies of potential electronic data processing applications, and helps prepare design proposals to reflect cost, time, and alternative actions to satisfy existing and future needs of the corporation. Participates in the development of data conversion and system implementation plans. Locates, reads, and complies with client quality policies, and supports ISO programs and efforts. Responsible for additional IT projects as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in IS or related field
• Supply chain manufacturing background required.
• Documented BaaN experience and expertise required.
• Effective training skills required.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and time management skills required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to effectively interact with management team and department staff required.
• Some travel required.
