In order to be successful, we’d like someone with a strong understanding of Finance/Accounting theory and process (someone who has supported a finance organization) and extensive knowledge of Baan. You’ll need to demonstrate your subject matter expertise and skills in implementation of client server applications (such as Baan, Oracle, SAP, etc., web based applications, data warehousing, RDBMS and financial packaged software) in order to quickly gain credibility and be effective in this role. We’ve found that most people who are successful in this role have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and have had around seven years of professional information systems work, including an understanding of hardware and software technology and development methodologies.
