SUMMARY OF POSITION:
You will be part of a core team of similar minded developers and analysts responsible for the design, development and implementation of Baan IV technical/ customization/ maintenance projects for both existing and new customers. You will be asked to contribute to the enhancement of the usability, functionality and stability of OneNeck customer's Baan environment.

This individual will be responsible for the technical support and maintenance of company wide Baan IV ERP systems for OneNeck customers. The responsibilities include design, development, customization, technical implementation and maintenance of Baan programs; setting-up, maintenance and monitoring of Baan jobs; and developiment and support of interfaces between Baan and other external applications. This person will be part of the Baan technical support team at OneNeck. This position is located in Kansas City, MO with minimal travel.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
• Solid application development / customization skills with Baan IVc3
• Knowledge of relational database concepts
• Experience with business process analysis /requirement gathering
• Experience in writing technical specification / design document
• Proficiency with development tools in a UNIX/Informix platform
• Solid programming, testing and technical implementation skills
• Data access component development (e.g. using SQL calls)
• Detailed application component design based on specifications and application architecture
• Develop application logic components using prescribed methods (3GL/4GL, triggers, stored procedure etc)
• Report component development (e.g. using report writer tool)
• Up/downstream application interface development (e.g. using APIs, BOIs, batch commands etc)
• User interface components development (e.g. using visual programming tools)
• Error and exception handling
• Good testing skills - Unit, system, volume and integration testing
• User and system documentation of application components
• Ability to quickly learn advanced programming techniques
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic, evolving environment
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

DESIRABLE SKILLS:
• Functional tional knowledge of Baan modules (such as Distribution, Manufacturing, Finance etc)
• Knowledge of Baan EDI
• Knowledge of Microsoft development tools (Visual studio 6.0, .Net)

EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or a related technology field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE: 4 years of related experience
