Our client has a specific need for an interim who has direct experience of using Baan to identify and implement system driven improvements to Supply Chain performance.

The client has a short term requirement (3 to 6 months) for a Purchasing Manager level interim who will be required to drive improvements to the performance of their ERP system.

This is an internal facing role and will not involve supplier negotiations.

Key requirements will be to:

1. Manage the MRP process
2. Ensure all purchase messages are actioned appropriately
3. Ensure shortages either do not arise or are dealt with rapidly
4. Manage the requirements to ensure optimal raw material stock levels consistent with servicing the manufacturing plan
5. Liaise with planning to ensure optimal material flow etc

MUST have Baan ERP software experience AND experience of ideally both the electronics industry and international markets.

What do you mean by "This is an internal facing role and will not involve supplier negotiations."
Would you be interested in contracting this position to a company having lot of experience in Baan (all versions) and having presence in the UK as well?
