SUMMARY OF POSITION: We require a fulltime Functional Baan IV Consultant who has expert knowledge in manufacturing, warehousing, supply chain and logistics business principles and Baan Manufacturing and Distribution module functional experience for a multi customer consulting and support role.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Provide implementation consulting, analysis, support and configuration of BaaN manufacturing and Distribution modules. The successful candidate must possess excellent business knowledge of Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Logistics. Provide functional support for installed BaaN Customers. Provides project reporting as required. Hands on implementation and coordination of all business materials and training information. Define and develop system software requirements for departments supporting enterprise business requirements. Problem analysis and resolution. Work closely with IT, business owners, software development and various key and end-users, managers and other BaaN consultants on project and support objectives.
SKILLS NECESSARY: 5 years of functional BaaN experience with extensive experience in Manufacturing and distribution. 5 years of analysis and problem solving. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Working knowledge of Baan Manufacturing would be desirable. BaaN V or SSA LN experience would be a plus
EDUCATION: Four-year degree or equivalent in a related discipline (e.g., information technology, computer science, business, engineering).
