In order to maintain our growth rate and increase our market strength, we are looking for a motivated self-starter to fill the following position for our IT team in Luxembourg:
Business Application Specialist (m/f)
We are looking for a selfstarting, motivated person that understands business processes in a complex multicultural, dynamic, international, multisite discrete manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate should have a degree in accounting / finance combined with a 3 5 years work experience in implementing and supporting finance systems. Deep accounting experience is mandatory. Preference will be given to those who have a degree in accounting. Experience with finance and accounting practices in China would be an advantage. You have relevant business experience and have worked during your career either inside or outside of IT, in the business with a discrete manufacturing environment. In addition we demand a proven track record on leading analysis and implementation of complex international business process improvement projects.
This position will be a balance between leading and working on projects and focus on operational support in order to meet the high demand for BaaN enhancements and new integrations.
Specific areas of support are:
Provide Baan Finance support to user community.
Prepare and provide Baan Finance training to key users from various Business Units.
Involve in application-related software implementation and upgrades.
Optimizing BaaN software to meet business needs.
Coordinate the amendment of the system to overcome bugs that may arise.
Assist end users and management with setting up reports in reporting tool (Business Objects).
Spec out and test BaaN customizations, interfaces and integrations.
Maintain user authorizations.
The Business Application support teams work in a highly collaborative structure between Luxembourg, Canada, USA and China. Travel to other Husky sites will be occuring on a regular basis.
Fluency in English both speaking and writing is a must. Other languages including Chinese are a definite advantage.
