We need a Baan Finance Functional Analyst with strong finance experience. This is a contracting position for about 3-4 months in Northern CA and the description is as follows:

The functional analyst provides expertise in the area of finance, accounting and cost analysis. Provide hands on implementation and coordination of all business materials and training information. Define and develop functional requirements for BaanERP finance module. Act as the liaison between IT, and Finance, Accounting and various end-users, managers and other Baan consultants on project objectives.

Requirements:

The person must have strong Baan Functional background with financial modules and experience implementing functional objectives throughout several projects in the past 3-5 years. Must be an excellent team player and possess strong business skills with superior knowledge of finance and cost accounting. Must have strong knowledge on integrations between finance and all other logistics modules.

Responsibilities:

Assist in defining, testing, training, implementing, and supporting the financial functional areas within the BaaN ERP system. This would include General Ledger, Cash Management, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable. Assist in delivering the tools and information necessary to improve and optimize financial processes
